Weekly Kaleidoscope 2

1 - I do not know much about Canal House but I am in love with their site.  You can read more about Canal House here or just click around their page for recipes, books, and other fun stuff.

2 - I just can't get enough of Beth Galton's photos.  Check out some of her works here and here.  Or go directly to her website and read her blog.

3 - Feeling crafty?  Ellen (The Long Thread) put together a list of 100 best craft tutorials from 2010

4 - New year is a time for new beginning.  In the blogoverse it is a time for new fun series.  Victoria Hudgins (A Subtle Revelry, previously known as City Cradle Design) is starting Random Series - each month she will be sharing creative uses of a random household object.  January is all about Zip Ties.

5 - You don't have to be a real Zen monk to follow these 12 Essential Rules.  I really like #8: Devote time to sitting. (Image via http://scratchbook.ch/2009/02/)

6 - Since Katie Goodman's (Good Life Eats) kitchen tip made my baking so much easier, I thought I will include it in today's kaleidoscope.

7 - A couple of weeks ago the Blogoverse was going crazy because of a 13th astrological sign added to the Horoscope (the shift turned me from Scorpio into Libra!!!??? What????).  Well here is Colourscope that won't change on you tomorrow: just pick your favorite colour and see how accurate it describes you.
Update: Looks like even Colourscope change: here is an updated version.

8 - I've mentioned Pantone's colour of 2011 in last week's kaleidoscope.  Besides a colour for the whole year, they predict 2 palletes: one for women and one for men. (Image via Indie Pretty Projects)

And while you are on Pantone's website, take a look at their Colostrology.  Pick your date of birth and read about you and your colour.  Mine is Magenta Haze.
