WEEKLY PRINTABLE QUOTE - week 20 and 21
More printable quotes!!! YEY!!!!
The first one is by Osho and is one of the quotes I have in my artbook. One day when I'll get to organising my craft space, I will have this quote framed and hung on top of my desk.
And even if Summer is playing hide-and-seek with us this year, it will eventually get warm enough for flip flops and wonderful Summer memories will be made, stores, and cherished.
To print the quote simply right-click the image you like and choose
to open in a new window/tab. You can then right-click the image and
save it on your computer. All images are 3x4 inches.

ARTBOOK {create}
Here are two pages I've made for my artbook while experimenting with watercolours.
I found letter drawing stencils and used them to spell out CREATE on the first spread. I filled the background with synonyms of "create": from vision to artistry, from originality to genius.
To add some dimension I glued letter "C" and used one of my stamps to give it some interesting design.
For the second watercoloured spread I wrote some of my favourite quotes about creativity, which I am hoping to share as printable cards. I wanted them to look as if written by different people so I had fun practicing different handwritings.
Speaking of artbooks, Kalitanya wrote about her experience at Toronto's stop of The Sketchbook Project mobile library. Her post is in Russian (use Google translate), enjoy the images and don't forget to check out The Sketchbook Project website!

KALEIDOSCOPE
Happy Saturday, my friends! Any exciting plans for the weekend?
Ours will be spend mostly at home; I have several paper craft projects to work on, some sewing to do, and if the weather will cooperate we will be buying and planting skyrocket junipers in front of the house. Speaking of the weather, it has been the most unusual Spring with temperatures ranging from +30 to +5 within days. Last week they even had ground frost warnings in some parts of Quebec!
If you are housebound this weekend (due to the weather or other reasons) here are 10 things to keep you entertained:

ABOUT ANYA
I think it's time to introduce myself. I have a slightly outdated about SAS-does page but about me page is nowhere to be found. Today I am changing this.
My name is Anna Sokolovskaya but on this blog I go by my shorter name, Anya. For the past 15 years I've been living in Montreal, Canada where my parents and my sister came to from Uzbekistan (former Soviet Union).
Most of all I like learning new things: from computer science to psychology in University, from yoga and piano playing to ikebana and knitting in my spare time. I also like to put my knowledge into practice and more often than not you'll find me knitting, paper crafting, sewing or trying a new craft. I am rarely sitting idle without any project in my hands. Right now, paper is my favourite medium. I enjoy scrapbooking, origami, and bookmaking. You can see some of my projects HERE or in my Etsy store - BRASS AND RUFFLES.
Having worked as an adult educator for over 5 years I greatly enjoy the ability to pass my knowledge, to inspire others, and to turn complex things simple and understandable. This year I have started 2 new series GARDENING ADVENTURES and AWAKENING CREATIVITY that help me to realise my teaching "dream" and share my knowledge with you.
Nature and outdoors is truly my element. I feel alive and fearless with a backpack, my walking sticks, on a long hike with Eric far away from civilisation. We try to escape into the wilderness for a week or two every now and then but when a long trip is impossible I look for the nature in my backyard; working the soil, planting, and taking care of the garden.
This blog is about my creative endeavours, things I like to do, people I love, and everyday moments and thoughts.
And if, like me, you enjoy reading facts about others here are 10 random things about me
Thank you for visiting SAS-does, for coming back, and for leaving your comments. It makes me happy knowing that you read what I write and this blog would not happen without you!
